Though Trouble might not be able to see you, he sure can tell you thanks! This happy boy greets everyone with tail wagging. “He’s very sweet, very trusting, and so intelligent,” Trouble’s caregivers say. “He loves when you whisper in his ear and when you give him belly rubs.” Trouble was surrendered to the SPCA when his owner no longer had a home to go to. Right from the start, Trouble impressed everyone with his trusting approach to life. He adjusted to his kennel pretty quickly, figuring out where the doors were and how to go in and out.

Volunteers noticed that he loved to go for walks, especially in the warm sun. He knows “sit” and “give paw” and will follow directions using people’s voices to navigate while walking. “He LOVES hot dogs for a special treat,” says Roxann, one of his caregivers, “and he always knows when you have them with you.”

“He may be visually impaired,” says Roxann, “but he sees with all his heart and soul. His spirit is strong and happy, which always gives joy to all who spend time with him.” Your gift this #GivingTuesday will ensure that homeless pets like Trouble have a safe place to call home-between-homes.
