The Lycoming County SPCA has received funding to award several scholarships to local students for our upcoming Safari Day Camp from Athletes for Animals. We would like to encourage students, age 6 ½ through 13, to apply for the available scholarships. Interested students should complete the scholarship application and attach a short essay explaining why they would like to attend camp. Applications are due to the SPCA by Wednesday, June 12th. Recipients will be notified by Friday, June 14th.
There are a limited number of scholarships available. Upon award of a scholarship, the parent/guardian will be required to complete an information packet and arrange for their child’s transportation to and from the SPCA. Accepted students will be required to bring a thank you letter for Athletes for Animals on his/her first day of camp.
