Dog Training Classes for 2012

Tracy Free will teach three classes in 2012. 

Puppies only (10 weeks to 6 months)
Adult small dog (7 months plus, and under 25 pounds)
Adult medium to large dog (7 months plus, and over 25 pounds)
Classes will be scheduled as they fill so sign up now! The six week puppy class is $55 for a Lycoming County SPCA dog and $80 for all others. You and your puppy will have the opportunity for socialization. Other topics include good pet behavior, biting, jumping, attention seeking behavior, come on command, sit and down.
The adult classes are eight weeks and cost $65 for a Lycoming County SPCA dog and $90 for all others. You will learn to teach your pet to focus on you, behavior modification, recall on and off leash, sit, down, wait, stay, and start of hand commands.
Only six dogs per class. You must show proof of current vaccines including rabies shot, and a current Pennsylvania dog license. Classes will be held on Saturday or Sunday afternoon. Please do not use choke chains, pinch or prong collars or flexi-leads. Sign up at the SPCA. Payment is due on the first day of class.

The Lycoming County SPCA is the county’s only locally run, full-service shelter and operates entirely on the support of its donors. All contributions to the Lycoming County SPCA remain within our community to provide services such as shelter, emergency treatment, investigation and prosecution of cruelty or abuse complaints; adoption and counseling; education, outreach and humane care.  We are not affiliated with any other state or national SPCA or other humane societies.
